Mission

Our mission is to connect Polish and German scientists, from early-career students to established researchers, through a range of collaborative activities. We believe that science transcends borders, and by nurturing the next generation of physicists, we invest in a future of shared innovation and discovery.

Our joint efforts focus on the study of heavy ion collisions at the LHC. These powerful collisions recreate conditions similar to the early universe—moments after the Big Bang—allowing us to probe the quark-gluon plasma, a state of matter where quarks and gluons are no longer confined within protons and neutrons. This field of research deepens our understanding of the fundamental forces and particles that form the universe, offering a glimpse into its earliest moments.
