How to find us

Directions
The University Administration provides clear directions to all locations of the University of Bonn. The Institute of Physics is located on the Poppelsdorf campus. Detailed directions to the Institute of Physics can be found on this page.

Arrival on foot From Bonn main station

• Leave the station through one of the west exits.
• You will then find yourself on Quantiusstrasse.
• At its northern end (on the right), turn half-left into Colmantstrasse
• Follow this street (later called Endenicher Allee) to the 3rd set of traffic lights.
• Turn left into Nussallee, where you will find the Physikalisches Institut, No. 12, about halfway down the street (250 meters) on the left-hand side.

Arrival by public transportation from Bonn main station

• Take line 601, 602 or 603 to the Beringstrasse stop
• Stay on Meckenheimer Allee in a south-westerly direction
• After about 210 meters turn right onto Nussallee
• After about 300 meters, the Physikalisches Institut is on the right-hand side
• Take line 604, 605, 606 or 607 to the Kaufmannstrasse stop
• Walk back along Endenicher Allee in a north-easterly direction for about 50 meters
• Turn right onto Nussallee
• After about 250 meters, the Physikalisches Institut is on the left-hand side
