Advait Dhingra and Steffen Lenkewitz both took second place in the Jugend Forscht competition (regional round Bonn/Cologne). They carried out their research projects on the reconstruction of hadronically decaying tau leptons at the ATLAS experiment during the project weeks of Netzwerk Teilchenwelt at CERN. Both projects were supervised by Dr. Christian Grefe and carried out in the group of Prof. Dr. Klaus Desch.
The four first prizes at the University of Bonn of the regional round Bonn/Cologne are described in this report.
